Police in Northern Ireland arrest another suspected member of the New IRA on charges of terrorism
Police in Northern Ireland this Saturday arrested a tenth suspect at Heathrow Airport in London for being a member of the New IRA for Terrorism in a new operation against dissident groups from the 1998 peace accords.
The agents arrested a 62-year-old man “under the Terrorism Act in connection with an ongoing investigation into the activities of the New IRA,” said a police officer, Barbara Gray.
Gray has stated that the Scottish-based suspect was brought to Belfast for questioning while agents are searching a property in Edinburgh.

Last Tuesday, the Northern Irish security forces reported the arrest of nine suspected members of the New IRA “on suspicion of a variety of terrorist activities”.
