Poland has registered about 660 cases of coronavirus in the past few hours, breaking its daily record of new infections for the third year in a row as the country prepares to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising against the Nazi occupation on Saturday .

The Polish Ministry of Health reported on Saturday that it has discovered another 658 cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, a total of 46,346 while another five people have died, with 1,721 deaths from COVID-19 already occurring. In addition, 34,374 patients have recovered.

Poland declared health in March last year, although it began to loosen restrictions in late April, which accelerated de-escalation in May and June. As part of the social and economic reopening, the contagion has increased again, although the government is ruling out tracing for the time being.
