The vast majority of Twitter users trust Spencer Schiff’s investment advice. 18 years old, older than his father’s, Peter Schiff, a famous gold fan and bitcoin critic.
“Against my advice, my son just bought more Bitcoin”, Said ship. “Whose advice do you want to take?”
Against my advice, my son @SchiffSpencer just bought more #Bitcoin. Whose advice would you like to take? A 57 year old veteran investor / business owner who has been an investment pro for over 30 years or an 18 year old college freshman who has never had a job.

According to Tweet from September 7th by Peter Schiff, Of the 46,000+ Twitter users who responded to their survey, 81% would prefer the advice of an “18-year-old freshman who has never had a job” to that of a man with 30+ years of work experience about investing.
The young man Schiff was quick to respond to his father’s comments and poll results. saying These crypto-enthusiastic Twitter users seemed to support this. Others showed their support for Spencer with great emotion on social media.
“Your son will be a billionaire at least by 57 if he keeps buying bitcoin.” said the CEO of Quantum Labs, Usman Majeed.
However, some have suggested that having a father and son who prefer different assets is mostly an investment strategy.
“Using your son to hedge your gold bet is a great idea.” said the co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital, Anthony Pompliano. “Gold goes up, you profit. Bitcoin goes up, your child benefits. A sneaky way to stay long on either asset without publicly capitulating to gold. “
Pompliano wasn’t the only commentator to come to this conclusion. “It seems like Peter is making sure that he can go either way depending on the success or failure of Bitcoin,” he said the Reddit user, Spl00ky. “When Bitcoin fails, it says, ‘You see, my son should have listened to me.’ When Bitcoin is successful it says, “See how smart my son is, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
The poll comes just two weeks later Schiff asked Bitcoin (BTC) on Twitter for donations for his son’s 18th birthday. Although Spencer Schiff’s wallet does not currently contain Bitcoin, transactions worth 0.11 BTC have been made since August 27.
