Peter McCormack, a respected Bitcoin investor and advocate, announced the purchase of English local football club Bedford FC, to reveal its ambitions in a thread of fourteen tweets to fuel the club’s thriving endeavors through its premier crypto asset, Bitcoin.

McCormack said he intended to match the architecture of the club “Bitcoin in your heart”, iWe’ll feature everything from merchandise and endorsements, an educational program for fans and community members, and promoting open source development opportunities.

In making a commitment to harness its social media audience, which currently includes more than 430,000 people on Twitter, as well as the global consortium of 150 million Bitcoin owners and companies, McCormack argues that these factors put the club in a beneficial position with it greater influence compared to local competitors with information:

“Where local teams can only access a local fan / business community to drive sales, we have a global army of Bitcoin owners and companies to back it up.”

McCormack also highlighted the sponsorship deals that have already been made and the increased social interest in club items, and concluded that “our first year earnings could match that of a small top division club”. and that the capital could attract higher-tier players and managers to join the club and accelerate its growth.

Inspired by actor Jason Sudeikis, who plays the television character Ted Lasso in the hit series of the same name, The businessman changed his Twitter name to Peter McLasso and ended his tweet thread with the infamous picture of the screen character touching a self-made “Believe” sign above his office.

The new club president, who bears the name McLasso, sees this symbolic image as a clear representation of Bedford FC’s lofty ambitions to ascend the football pyramid from its current position in the South Midlands League Division 1 to the multi-million dollar promised country that is the premier League.

“One day we will destroy Tottenham!” says the club’s official Twitter account.
