Peruvian police admit infiltrated agents are present during protests and the government has announced an investigation

The head of the Peruvian Police Command, Freddy Velásquez, admitted on Friday the presence of plainclothes officers as infiltrators during the protests that took place in the Andean country last week after the dismissal of former President Martón Vizcarra and the inauguration of Manuel Merino as interim president.
