Peru exceeded 710,000 COVID-19 infections this Thursday after reviewing more than 7,000 additional cases in the past 24 hours. This comes from data from the Andean Ministry of Health.
The health authorities recorded 7,291 cases that day, bringing the balance of Peru to 710,067 infected people. In addition, 108 deaths have been confirmed, so the Latin American country already has 30,344 deaths due to COVID-19.
Likewise, the Peruvian Ministry of Health has indicated that 544,745 people in the country have managed to recover from the disease. However, 10,641 are still in the hospital, 1,460 in intensive care units with mechanical ventilation.
