Peru highlights “progress” in curbing the coronavirus, but asks “not to let your guard down”.

Peruvian President Martín Vizcarra stressed this Wednesday that in 16 of the country’s 25 regions, the contagion factor from the coronavirus is less than one, indicating that “great progress” has been made in containing the pandemic asked to “not let go of your guard”.

“Then we need to act quickly and collectively, asking for the responsibility and commitment of their authorities to improve responsiveness and communication with the population so that they always adhere to the appropriate health protocols,” he said.
