The Peruvian Ministry of Health reported earlier this Friday that 11,500 coronavirus deaths have been reached in the country, according to the latest information from the authorities, 320,000 cases.
To date, 319,646 cases have been infected in Peru, 3,198 more infections have been added in the last 24 hours, and there have been 186 new deaths due to the pandemic.
Lima is still the country most affected by COVID-19 with 172,854 confirmed infections across the country. Callao follows with 18,921; Piura at 18,394; and Lambayeque, who presented 14,818 cases.
According to the health authorities, there are currently 11,894 coronavirus patients in the hospital, of whom 1,309 are in intensive care units.
Out of the total number of positive cases, 210,638 people completed their isolation period at home or were discharged from a health center.
