Peru crossed the line of 30,000 deaths from COVID-19 on Tuesday, a number that hits more than 696,000 positive results, according to the Andean Nation’s Ministry of Health.
In particular, health officials have verified 30,123 deaths from the disease since the pandemic began, 147 new in the past 24 hours.
In terms of the number of positives, the 4,615 diagnosed on Tuesday increased the global number of Peru to 696,190 infected.
So far, 11,087 people are still approved for COVID-19 in Peru. 1,499 of these are in intensive care units and require mechanical ventilation. For their part, 529,751 people have completed their isolation or have been discharged after overcoming the disease.
