Esports organization OG has partnered with a blockchain-based gaming technology company, DMScript.
According to The Esports Observer, the OG esports team will promote CS: GO DMScript products to their fan base by wearing clothes with the company logo while participating in esports tournaments around the world.
The partnership with OG also enables DMScript to learn more about the needs of the esports industry and to support DMScript in developing new ideas, high quality solutions and products that improve the quality of life of gamers.
On the other hand, the association will support OG in the development and growth by using the technical solutions of DMScript.
According to Xavier Oswald, co-owner of OG and CRO, The partnership with DMScript will not be the last and they intend to enter further partnerships with technology companies in the next year.
OG has reportedly already partnered with SteelSeries and Secretlab, and reached an agreement with Red Bull to include the Red Bull brand in the OG logo.
Esports and blockchain have forged a closer relationship in recent years as more and more companies examine the benefits blockchain can offer. These associations differ in nature. Crypto-powered esports streaming platform Theta partnered with South Korean Ludena Protocol to reward gamers for streaming content. There are even crypto-backed esports tournaments.
