North Korean leader Kim Jong Un returned on Saturday after a 20-day absence to attend a public event that sparked speculation about a possible deterioration in his health.

The young North Korean leader has attended the inauguration of a fertilizer plant in the city of Sunchon, South Phyongan province, as reported by the North Korean state media and collected by the South Korean news agency Yonhap.

This is Kim’s first public appearance since the act he attended on April 1st, when he led a meeting of the North Korean Workers’ Party executive.
