NEW YORK, Sep. 1 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper, has declared on Sunday the state of emergency throughout the territory before the arrival in the next hours of Hurricane 'Dorian', in an announcement collected by the CNN chain.
At the same time, the National Hurricane Center of the United States has issued a tropical storm alert on the east coast of Florida, specifically from Deerfield Beach to Sebastian's Cove.
The center has predicted that 'Dorian' will bring high winds and “swells of dangerous storms” along the coasts of Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina in the middle of next week.
The first signs of the arrival of the hurricane will begin to be perceived in the early hours of Sunday to Monday, with hurricane winds that will touch the 100 kilometers per hour in Cape Canaveral (Florida).
At the moment, the hurricane is about to arrive in Bahamas. According to the center, conditions will deteriorate over the Abaco Islands during the next few hours before reaching the island of Grand Bahama.
