This was confirmed by Nigerian Minister of Aviation Sirika Hadi, who wrote on his Twitter account that the aircraft had been confiscated for circumventing the ban on commercial flights contained in the coronavirus pandemic package to contain the spread.

“Flair Aviation, the affected airline, was authorized to operate humanitarian flights, but was caught on commercial flights,” wrote Hadi.
