GENEVA, Sep 24 (Reuters / EP) –
The chief of staff of the Armed Forces of Iran, Major General Mohamad Baqeri, has warned that the Islamic Republic will respond to any possible attack by its enemies with “defeat and capture,” according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
General Baqeri has issued this warning after the United States, Saudi Arabia and several European countries accused the Ayatollah regime of carrying out drone attacks against refineries of the Saudi state company Aramco.
“We have repeatedly told the enemy that if there is any violation against this country, they will face the same actions as the American drone and the English tanker,” General Baqeri said, referring to the demolition of a US drone by the Ayatollah regime. and the capture of a British tanker in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz.
“The result of a violation against this country will be defeat and captivity,” said the Chief of Staff of the Defense of Iran. His message comes after the United Kingdom, France and Germany accused Iran of being responsible for the drone attack against several refineries on Saudi soil on September 14, bombings that caused disruptions in the supply of crude.
