The governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, confirmed 226 new deaths in the state this Saturday – the lowest number in the past five days – as a result of the corona virus.
The number of new infections in the hospital was 572, as Cuomo reported, which represents a further decline in the daily income rate. In general, and according to the updated state of Johns Hopkins University, a total of 26,243 people have died and 71,679 hospitalized since the pandemic was declared.
Exceptionally, the governor also contributed to the infection rate between emergency services and public transportation, both of which have proven to be below average.
According to the governor, New York City fire and ambulance members had an average infection rate of 17.1 percent, compared to 19.9 percent for the rest of the population.
