Portland Police have arrested 59 people in a new police violence protest that began in the city Saturday night. This included the shooting of “several incendiary bombs” against officials.
One person was injured during the demonstration and had to be taken to hospital. The police have given assurances that it was not a “peaceful protest”.
“Many in the crowd wore large shields and protective gear, including helmets, gas masks, bulletproof vests and all black clothing,” Portland police said in a report posted on their website.
The corpse has assured that the protesters also threw stones, mortars and other objects at the agents.
