The new coronavirus pandemic originating in the Chinese city of Wuhan has left more than 386,000 deaths and more than 6.5 million infected worldwide, according to the latest Johns Hopkins University.
According to data updated this Thursday at 9:30 a.m., the global coronavirus balance is 6.5 million cases and 386,091 deaths in 188 countries and areas.
The total number of people recovered exceeds 2.8 million, with the United States at the top of the list. 479,258 people were cured, followed by Brazil with 238,617 rescued patients and Russia with 195,559.
The United States remains the most affected country by the pandemic, growing below 20,000 in the past 24 hours. 19,700 infections result in 1.8 million infected and 107,715 deaths.
