More than 368,000 have been affected by the floods in Mexico

The national coordinator for civil protection in Mexico, Laura Velázquez Alzúa, has reported that more than 368,000 people have been affected by the floods recorded in the southeast region of Mexico, mainly in the state of Tabasco but also in Chiapas and Veracruz

In Tabasco in particular, 302,498 people are affected; in Chiapas (54,976) and in Veracruz (10,848) Velázquez said at a press conference of the Mexican newspaper ‘El Universal’.
