More than 302,000 deaths and 4.4 million coronavirus cases in the US, more than 27,000 positive

The new coronavirus pandemic, which has its origins in the Chinese city of Wuhan, has resulted in more than 302,000 deaths and more than 4.4 million infected people worldwide, the latest report from Johns Hopkins University.

According to data updated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, the global equilibrium of coronavirus is 4,444,670 cases and 302,493 deaths in 188 countries and areas.

The total number of people recovered rises to 1.58 million, with the United States topping the list with 246,414 cured people, followed by Germany with 150,300 rescued patients and Spain with 143,374.

In a week with fewer than 20,000 cases registered per day on two consecutive days, the United States has added 27,400 in the past 24 hours, for a total of 1.41 million infected and 85,906 deaths.
