The popular cryptocurrency futures trading platform, Bybit is currently hosting thousands of entrants for its World Series of Trading or WSOT competition.
About 12 days after the end of the competition, 12,368 participants are currently looking for a purse of 200 Bitcoin (BTC) worth around 2.4 million US dollars. based on the data displayed on the exchange’s WSOT page.
Bybit announced its WSOT in late July, stating that the event will be held twice a year in the future. On August 10th, traders threw their hats into the ring for the best PL before the event ends on August 31st.
The event has two categories: USDT and Troop BTC only. In the USDT-only competition, participants compete against each other individually and trade the Bitcoin USDT Perpetual Exchange product from Bybit. Strive for the best income statement and total bottom line.
In the WSOT BTC Troop category, the participants in teams that are divided into regional departments trade the Perpetual Exchange product Bitcoin USD from Bybit. The troops will compete for the best team income statement, best individual income and best individual income statement, according to the rules on Bybit’s WSOT website.
Junki84 ranks first on an individual income statement, growing 2,800%. In the team category, W.T.C comes first with an income statement of 417% for the first time.
The competition hosts a number of renowned personalities, like YouTuber Jason Appleton, Moderator of Crypto crow on his YouTube channel, and poker star Doug Polk.
