MADRID, Nov. 13 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The former Bolivian president Evo Morales said Wednesday that “if the people ask for it,” he will return to the country to “pacify him”, although he has not clarified as what.
“Of course, if the people ask, we are willing to return,” he said in a press conference he has offered from Mexico, where he arrived Tuesday as a political asylum.
Morales has been convinced that “sooner or later” he will return, considering that “better as soon as possible to pacify Bolivia, which is what the people are asking for.”
The indigenous leader has stressed that he would return to launch a “national dialogue” with the priority objective of “pacifying” the Andean nation, although he has assumed that “it will be difficult to stop this confrontation.”
