Mexico has had 43,000 coronavirus pandemic deaths, with 729 deaths recorded on the last day. This emerges from the latest balance offered by the Ministry of Health.
In particular, authorities have indicated that the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the country was 43,734, while the number of cases increased to 385,036, with 6,751 more positive cases in the past 24 hours.
This was reported by the director general of the National Center for Prevention Programs and Disease Control, Ruy López Ridaura, who said there were 53,572 active cases of coronavirus in the country this Saturday.
Regarding the staffing of the hospital, he pointed out that there are 30,666 beds available for coronavirus patients in the country, of which 16,500 are available and 14,166 are staffed, so the occupancy is 46 percent.
