Mexican Health Ministry’s Director General for Epidemiology, José Luis Alomía, reported this Friday that the country has exceeded 62,000 coronavirus cases and 6,900 deaths from the same cause.
In particular, there have been 62,527 positive COVID-19 deaths in the North American country and 6,989 deaths, with 479 new deaths in the past 24 hours.
In addition, according to local press reports, health authorities have detailed that 33,801 people are suspected of being infected.
Mexico began resuming activity in more than 300 “communities of hope” on Monday with little or no transmission of the virus. The National Sana Removal Day is not scheduled to be canceled at the national level by May 30.
