The Mexico City (CDMX) and the State of Mexico (Edomex) They will return to the epidemiological orange traffic light, they confirmed it Claudia Sheinbaum, Head of government of CDMX and Alfredo Del Mazo, Governor of Edomex.

“As you can see in the city, we always give the colors a surname and call it: Orange traffic lights without lowering our guard, reactivate without risk,” said Claudia Sheinbaum in her morning press conference.

For his part, Del Mazo announced this on social media, making it clear that this decision was due to the decline in the number of infections and hospital stays due to COVID-19 in the company.

A decrease in the number of hospital stays was also reported in Mexico City. Currently the company has 67.87% of hospital occupancy with 2,661 beds available to care for patients with COVID, of which 637 are ventilated beds, meaning 30% availability for mechanical ventilation.

What does that mean?

The restaurants can now open until 10:00 p.m., which is an increase of one hour compared to the previous week and five hours compared to the first “Reactivate risk-free” program.

“For the next week the restaurant service will only be open air and as we can see the progress of this program, we can make another decision, but only for one week for now,” said Eduardo Clark of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation.

Tables with five people are also allowed compared to the four of the last few weeks. On the other hand, performances in theatrical scenes in the open air are permitted on the condition that all participants wear face masks.

With regard to indoor gyms, training 1 to 1 is permitted with a minimum distance of four meters between training groups. In the closed pools, individual classes can be specified with a gap of two lanes between users.
