Mexico borders a thousand deaths on the last day and has already exceeded 32,000 coronavirus deaths

Mexican health officials reported nearly a thousand coronavirus deaths this Tuesday in Mexico, a country that has already passed the 32,000 deaths mark due to the disease.

In particular, Mexico’s epidemiology director, José Luis Alomía, has stated that 895 additional COVID-19 deaths have been verified, bringing the global figure to 32,014 in the North American country.

In addition, health officials have confirmed 258 other positive cases, a total of 268,008 cases of coronavirus in Mexico, which is the fourth Latin American country most affected by the pandemic after Brazil, Peru and Chile.

During its daily account balance, which was collected by the local newspaper ‘El Universal’, Alomia has explained in detail that of the 29,711 beds available for coronavirus patients, 16,462 are available and 13,249 are occupied.
