Mexico already has 37,000 COVID-19 deaths with more than 317,000 confirmed cases. This is evident from the balance that the country’s health authorities offered this Wednesday.
In particular, Mexico added 579 disease-related deaths and 6,149 new positive results this Tuesday. The worldwide number in the North American country has reached 36,906 deaths and 317,635 infections, according to the newspaper ‘El Universal’.
Regarding the staffing of the hospital, the director of epidemiology in Mexico has indicated that 16,512 beds are free and 13,745 are occupied. There are 5,995 free beds with a breathing mask, while 3,806 are occupied.
In the meantime, the Institute of Health Metrics and Assessment (IHME) has lowered the forecast of coronavirus deaths in Mexico for November and now estimates that more than 97,920 will occur. Last July he predicted more than 103,900 for the same date.
