Mexico moved closer to 630,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus this Saturday by adding more than 6,000 new infections recorded in the past 24 hours.
Undersecretary of State for Prevention and Health Promotion Hugo López-Gatell has reported that as of this Saturday in Mexico 629,409 positive results from COVID-19 have been confirmed while the death toll was 67,326.
In addition, it has been reported that there are 86,616 suspicious infections and 438,754 people have recovered since the pandemic began.
At the national level, the number of beds available in hospitals for patients with coronavirus has been estimated at 67 percent. With respect to people wearing respirators, 71 percent are available and 29 percent are employed.
