Martin Scorsese’s dog accused of attacking nurse
Natara Matias claims the Hollywood filmmaker’s terrier bit her at his house in Manhattan in September 2015, according to the New York Daily News.
The lawsuit alleged that the nurse fell and hurt her neck and back as a result. It said she suffered “great pain, shock and mental anguish” following the incident.
It also claimed the Goodfellas director and his wife Helen knew the pooch was “wild, unruly, vicious and possessed of a ferocious nature and disposition with a propensity to attack other dogs and human beings”.

Ms Matias reportedly accused the couple of failing to keep the animal under control despite being aware of its ability to “menace” the nurse.
An Instagram post by Scorsese’s daughter Francesca appeared to show the family pet had died in 2016.
