Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived at the Independence Palace, the official residence of the President, this Sunday, helicopter and rifle in hand, amid opposition protests near the place. This is the 15th consecutive day of protest against Lukashenko.
A video posted on social media shows Lukashenko getting out of a helicopter wearing black clothes, a bulletproof vest, cap and a magazine-less Kalashnikov rifle. After leaving the machine, he asked the guards if anyone was still there, referring to the demonstrators.
The President is accompanied by his 15-year-old son Nikolai, who wears a camouflage uniform, a bulletproof vest and a machine gun, also without a magazine.
