López Obrador says that “don’t lie” and “don’t steal” helps prevent coronavirus

June 4, 2020

The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has assured this Thursday that “not lying” and “not stealing” will help prevent the development of the coronavirus, given the increase in cases and deaths that he has asked for. The population is falling not in “psychosis”.

“Coping well with our conscience – not lying, not stealing, not betraying – helps a lot that the coronavirus doesn’t occur,” said López Obrador at the daily press conference that Palenque gave to Chiapas this Thursday when she did continue their tours of Mexican territory this week.

AMLO, as the Mexican press dubbed it, made these statements when asked about the measures it is taking to prevent coronavirus infection, precisely as part of this national “tour”.

“I’m careful,” he replied, noting that he not only has a clear conscience, but also follows the general recommendations to “keep a healthy distance” and “wash hands”.
