Libyan Foreign Minister suspended from her post for “regulatory offenses”

Libya’s Foreign Minister Najla Mangush has been suspended from her post by the Libyan Presidential Council, a spokeswoman said on Saturday.

The spokeswoman for the presidential council, Najla Weheba, confirmed in an interview with the television station Libya Panorama that the council has launched an investigation into possible “administrative violations” against the minister, the media report “Libyan Express”.

In addition, a commission of inquiry was set up to present its results within 14 days under the direction of Deputy Minister Abdulá Alafi.
