The Kiev government will take as long as necessary to investigate the crash of the Boeing of Ukraine International Airlines through a missile from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Evgueni Enin announced on Sunday.
The Iranian delegation arrived in Kiev last week to discuss issues related to the plane crash. The parties agreed to hold the next round of consultations in October.
“I would like to point out that everything to do with the application of international law is not a quick matter and we are under no circumstances willing to hurry up,” Enin told Ukraina 24 Channel.
Enin also questioned Tehran’s willingness to pay compensation for the plane crash, although Iranian State Department spokesman Abbas Musavi said Tehran had agreed to pay.
