With the new standard, non-vaccinated people have no access to public transport, bars and restaurants, gyms, cinemas, theaters and large public events and can only go to work in person or use high-speed trains or airplanes. , after a negative coronavirus test, which should not exceed 72 hours for PCR and 48 hours for antigens.
“Our situation is worsening slightly but steadily,” said Prime Minister Mario Draghi. “We want to be very careful and avoid risks so that we can preserve what the Italians have achieved,” he said after the Council of Ministers on Wednesday.
“We want to maintain the normality that we have resumed, that is the spirit of the measures,” said the Italian Prime Minister, who thanked his compatriots for participating in the vaccination campaign, reports the Adnkronos agency.

The decree also prescribes compulsory vaccination for police officers and other state forces, as well as for teaching staff. So far, the measure has only affected health workers and employees in old people’s and care facilities.
