Italy reports 174 deaths a day, the lowest number since detention began

Italian civil defense has reported that 174 coronavirus deaths have occurred in the past 24 hours, and now a total of 28,884 deaths from the new disease. It is the lowest daily death toll since March 9, before delivery, when 97 deaths were reported.

There were also 1,389 positive results reported on the last day, compared to 1,900 on Saturday, for a total of 210,717 confirmed cases. It is also the lowest daily number of positives since March 10 when 977 cases were reported.

The Italian Daily Bulletin also lists 17,242 hospital patients. Of these, 1,501 are in intensive care, 38 fewer than on Saturday. In addition, 81,654 cases were recovered – 1,740 more in one day – and 100,179 active cases with coronavirus.

By region, Lombardy continues to top the list with 77,528 cases and 14,231 deaths, followed by Piedmont (27,430 cases and 3,152 deaths) and Emilia Romagna (26,016 cases and 3,642 deaths). Venetia, Tuscany, Liguria, Lazio and the Marches lie far behind.
