Israeli studies authorize a fourth dose for the immunodeficient population

According to Israeli television broadcaster Channel 12, the Israeli government is considering approving a fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine to strengthen the immunodeficient population.

Health officials would discuss the pros and cons of giving a fourth dose of the vaccine, particularly given the news of the spread of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.

The third dose was given as early as July, giving preference to people who are at risk for the immune system and who, for example, are undergoing cancer treatment.
