The Israeli executive has decided to take several restrictive measures after a new record of new daily coronavirus cases, which caused a total of more than 44,000 infections, was registered on Thursday, 1,758.
Therefore, the new rules will come into effect this Friday at 5:00 p.m. local time. Restaurants and gyms have to close with them. Restaurants will be operating to deliver or give away groceries, while professional athletes will be allowed to go to gyms.
The capacity of restaurants in hotels is limited to 35 percent of their capacity. Meetings of more than ten people inside and twenty outside are now prohibited. Working groups and family cores are the exception to this rule.
According to The Times of Israel newspaper, government buildings have to limit their capacity to 50 percent of their staff and are closed to the public. Procedures can still be carried out online. Cafeterias in office buildings are also closed, with the exception of takeaway products.
