The Israeli army has claimed to have bombed again targets of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip in response to the launch of fire balloons from the Palestinian enclave into Israeli territory.
“Palestinian protesters in Gaza threw explosives and tried to approach the security fence in Israel tonight after firing explosive balloons from Gaza into Israel today,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said through their account on the social network Twitter.
In doing so, they have indicated that “in response to these attacks” they met Hamas military targets in Gaza and held the group responsible for what happened.
After the bombings, the Israeli army reported that “terrorists in Gaza” fired two rockets at Israel. “The air defense system, the Iron Dome, intercepted both missiles,” he reported.
