Iranian Secretary of State Mohamad Yavad Zarif told President of the United States Donald Trump on Friday that his decision to abandon the nuclear deal in 2018 was “a stupid bet” and he “left it to fix it”.

“His advisors, most of whom were fired today, have made a stupid bet. It’s up to you to decide when you want to fix the problem,” Zarif said in a message on his account on Twitter’s social network was directed to the U.S. President.

He recalled that both countries “had an agreement when you came into office”. “Iran and the rest of the participants in the nuclear deal never left the table (of the talks),” he said.
