Iran has confirmed delivery of the Ukraine International Airlines black box to France, which was shot down near Tehran last January, Deputy Foreign Minister Mohsen Baharvand said on Saturday.

“The black boxes of the Ukrainian plane were transported to Paris,” he said, quoted by the newspaper ‘Etemad’.

On June 26, the French Civil Aviation Security Research and Analysis Bureau (BEA) reported that Iran had asked for help in deciphering the black box, which will begin on July 20.
