Iran is starting a new school year amid an increase in infections

This Saturday, the school year in Iran started personally, although the coronavirus infections have increased again with preventive and exceptional measures.

The Ministry of Education has stated that classes have only been resumed in regions outside the “red zone” with a high risk of infection. In this area, teaching is continued through internet sessions.

In the capital Tehran, which is considered the yellow zone, families decide whether or not to bring their students to school. Many families have chosen to stay home.
