The Iranian government is considering imposing sanctions on those who fail to comply with measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, e.g. B. Wearing a mask when the Islamic Republic approaches 315,000 confirmed cases.
Ministry of Health spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari reported Tuesday that 2,751 new cases and 212 more deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours, increasing the balance of COVID-19 in Iran to 314,786 people infected and affected 17,617.
Sadat Lari has stated that out of a total of 4,232 people are admitted to intensive care units, another 272,535 coronavirus patients have already left hospitals.
These numbers are part of the increase in infections that the Persian nation has suffered since the beginning of de-escalation in May, which has prompted Iranian President Hasan Rohani to speak about a “second wave” of the coronavirus.
