Iran has already confirmed almost 90,000 coronavirus cases and 5,650 deaths

The Iranian government has confirmed nearly 90,000 contagion cases across the country in which the coronavirus has killed 5,650 people. This is clear from the latest balance sheet released this Saturday.

Ministry of Health spokesman Kianush Jahanpur has confirmed a total of 1,134 new contagion cases, affecting a total of 89,328, according to the official Iranian news agency IRNA.

The number of deaths per day is 76, according to the same spokesman, who also confirmed a total of around 68,200 layoffs.
