Iran has a slight decrease in deaths and infections after 195 deaths and more than 2,300 new cases have been added

The Iranian Ministry of Health has confirmed 195 deaths and nearly 2,316 new coronavirus infections in the country’s final hours this Saturday, according to the general trend of recent days.

These numbers represent a slight decrease from the 2,489 cases and 215 deaths registered in the Islamic Republic on Friday.

Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari has confirmed a total of 288,839 infections and 15,484 deaths since the pandemic began. This is evident from the balance collected by the official Iranian news agency IRNA.

Of the new cases, 1,298 were hospitalized and a total of 3,670 patients were in critical condition. The total number of introductions is 251,319.
