Iran confirms 1,682 new COVID-19 cases and 101 more deaths

The Iranian health authorities reported 1,682 new coronavirus infections and 101 more deaths from the COVID-19 pandemic on Tuesday. This makes the Islamic Republic the twelfth country hardest hit by the outbreak in the Chinese city in 2019. from Wuhan.

The Iranian Ministry of Health has so far registered 376,894 infections and 21,672 deaths. Of the cases recorded in the last 24 hours, 786 correspond to hospital patients, while a total of 3,709 patients remain in the intensive care unit.
