Intrapreneurs, employees who continually design and implement solutions for the benefit of organizations, members, and stakeholders, have verified that the reconfiguration of the environment and workspaces is in their hands.
Under this premise, Indra, one of the world’s largest technology and consulting companies, which recently received the National Innovation Award, started for the fourth time in a row Innovators. This initiative aims to expand and strengthen the connection with the ecosystems of technological innovation on a global scale: Startups, s, university research groups experimenting with new technologies and in-house professionals.
There are three winning ideas out of more than 330 disruptive ideas submitted by 11,000 employees from 40 countries in response to the new post-Covid era.

Second: A tool to ensure social distancing in the subway “because it responds to one of the challenges that COVID-19 put on the table and developed part of its code within the Onesait platform, the platform Open source by Minsait ”.
Third, facial recognition solution using artificial intelligence that can measure audience attention and the quality and effectiveness of distance communication and training.
Indra’s Innovation Committee, made up of business unit representatives, managers from all business units and technical experts, was responsible for selecting the winning ideas from among 10 finalists. It should be noted that a dozen of the ideas presented were full prototypes with code developments on the Onesait platform from Minsait, an Indra company.

The day of innovation at Indra
The last event of Innovators has become Indra’s celebration of Innovation Day. This year was 100% virtual and was run by some Indra professionals who showed solidarity and innovative ideas, such as an Indra professional in Brazil who developed a self-taught ventilator to help out during the toughest months of the year COVID-19.
One of the winners of Innovators 2019 from Peru that has already realized its idea of a solution to ensure the supply of medicines in hospitals, which has proven to be key in Peru during the pandemic. Thank you for winning Innovators, has received a scholarship from Singularity University, a university in Silicon Valley, and has given various lectures to encourage young Peruvians to get involved.
The event was also attended by Jordi Ros, CEO of Labdoo, who announced the activities of this non-profit organization that supplies decommissioned laptops to schools around the world.
With InnovatorsIndra intends to consolidate its innovation culture in order to further transform the company, mobilize all available talent and promote the transversal generation of ideas.
