Indonesia registers its maximum daily number of deaths and exceeds the limit of 90,000 coronavirus cases

The Indonesian government confirmed around 1,900 new cases of coronavirus and 139 pandemic deaths this Wednesday. This is the highest daily death rate in the Asian country, which also exceeds 90,000 infections.

The health ministry detailed in its balance sheet that 1,882 people had tested positive in the last 24 hours, a total of 91,751, with 4,459 people dying since the pandemic started, the Indonesian newspaper The Jakarta Post reports.
