The Indian government has announced that air traffic will resume on Monday, hours after the country’s health ministry confirmed 138,845 contagions and 4,021 deaths from COVID-19.

Minister of Civil Aviation, Hardeep Singh Puri, highlighted the role of the sector during the health crisis, recalling the repatriation of more than 30,000 citizens since May 6, and the more than 900 tons of medical supplies distributed since May 26 were march across the country.
