India has surpassed 40,000 coronavirus deaths in the past few hours after recording more than 900 new deaths, the Asian giant’s health ministry reported Thursday.
In those 24 hours, health officials recorded 904 deaths, a total of 40,699, with Maharashtra being the Indian state with the highest number of deaths at 16,476, followed by Tamil Nadu (4,461) and Delhi, where the capital is located. with 4,044.
