India exceeds 6.3 million positives and is seeing a decline in antibodies in New Delhi

Indian health officials have reported 86,821 new positive results in the past 24 hours, resulting in more than 6.3 million accumulated cases in the country since the pandemic began.

The Ministry of Health announced this Wednesday that the country has 6,312,584 positive results, 940,705 active, 5,273,201 recovered and a total of 98,678 deaths, 1,181 in the last day.

The Indian states of Maharashtra (259,462 cases), Karnataka (107,635) and Andhra Pradesh (58,445) are the hardest hit and those with the highest number of positive cases.

Authorities also reported this Thursday that “the prevalence of SARS-COV-2 antibodies in New Delhi has decreased by more than four points in one month,” conclusions from the third serological study conducted in the city.
