It seems like a joke, but in the community Soconusco, Veracruzprohibit its residents from dying from coronavirus. This was done with the intention of sensitizing unbelievers who do not comply with the hygiene measures imposed by the federal government.
The Mayor of Soconusco, Rolando Sinforoso Rosas, ordered the ceilings to be placed to draw the residents’ attention. With the legend: “According to local regulations, it is strictly forbidden to die of coronavirus in this community.”
Of course, with a bit of humor, the decree is accompanied by the image of Ghanaian men in suits who dance with a coffin on their shoulders and have gone viral.
Veracruz and the corona virus
In the state of Veracruz, 803 confirmed cases and 69 deaths have been reported, none in the Soconusco community. There are currently 375 suspected cases.
The truth is that Acayucan, a neighboring community of Soconusco, has already reported four cases of the virus, which is why the authorities are trying to prevent the spread of the virus.
